LESLEE SCHENK TRZCINSKI BIO

Leslee Schenk Trzcinski is an accomplished cyclist and now a cycling coach and ride leader. She is a former professional cyclist for the 7-Eleven pro team sponsored by Nike, a member of the US national/Olympic development cycling team, and a two-time world championship medalist. She partnered with track star Edwin Moses on the US Olympic Committee and was featured in the CLIO-winning Nike commercial with Bo Jackson, Bo Diddley, Michael Jordan and others. She is now a USA Cycling certified coach, working with cyclists of all ages and abilities and leads intense training rides and casual group events.

In addition, she is a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and recently spotlighted in Bicycling Magazine for her effective “Yoga for Cyclists” approach. During her cycling career, she mastered a routine of stretching, visualization, nutrition and recovery techniques that she now helps other athletes draw direct linkages and benefits from the powerful yoga practice to their sport participation and goals. Her other sports accomplishments include success as a nationally ranked, state champion and state record-holding swimmer, a champion triathlete, completion of four marathons including Boston, and a former ski instructor. She resides in Canandaigua, NY and rides and trains on the roads throughout the Finger Lakes region. She teaches yoga and coaches cycling all over the country. She is married and has a 14 year old daughter.
